Peter C. Scatena is the President and Managing Partner of Executive Management Group. He is also the founding member of the company and serves on the firm’s Board of Directors. In these roles, Peter is responsible for the day-to-day operations and activities for the company, as well as the overall strategic vision for Executive Management Group.
Prior to founding Executive Management Group in 1998, Peter started his executive search career in 1993 with a nationally renowned company, Personnel Resource Corporation. During his tenure as Partner, Peter was responsible for the development of vertical markets, marketing, operations, and account management. Additionally, Peter developed and expanded upon PRC’s national technology practice to include other emerging technologies such as business intelligence, knowledge management, e-learning, and higher education.
Peter has earned a national reputation for leadership expertise and industry savvy within various vertical markets, which Executive Management Group represents. The root of Peter’s achievements lie within the many successfully completed engagements in the often challenging and extremely competitive technology sector – during the greatest labor shortage ever experienced within that industry.
In addition to his duties at Executive Management Group, Peter is active within the local Phoenix community with regard to various charities. His Board experience includes other private and not-for-profit companies. Peter received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Today, Peter is often called upon by corporations, emerging businesses, board members, and other executive search consultants for his opinions and expertise with regards to the executive search industry and matters involving the management of human capital.
